In India: Craft Resource Center (CRC) seeks to develop economic self-sufficiency for a vulnerable segment of society through traditional handcrafting skills.

In Bangladesh: Prokritee (meaning "nature" in Bengali) is an agency that provides managerial, product design and development, and marketing assistance to handicraft organizations in Bangladesh. Prokritee manages several handicraft enterprises and helps other groups sell their products in local and foreign markets. Caravanserai works with artisan groups from all over the world, here are some of the groups highlighted this month:

In Indonesia: CD Bethesda’s handicraft production unit was established in 1988 to improve community living conditions and to raise funds for health care programs

In Burkina Faso: MCC Burkina Faso works with 400 artisans in Burkina Faso. Sissao Hamidou, art instructor at Centre National D’Artisanat d’Art, acts as liaison with artisans working at the Centre National D’Artisanat and Le Village Artisanal de Ouagadougou, which since 2000 has showcased the work of Burkinabe artisans. The village provides a forum for 300 artisans working in 25 different trades.
